    SMIC will Host its First Showcase in Design Automation Conference

    SAN FRANCISCO, May 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation ("SMIC"; NYSE: SMI; SEHK: 981), China's largest and most advanced semiconductor foundry, will host its first showcase in the 51st Design Automation Conference (DAC) held at the Moscone Center, San Francisco. This is the first time for SMIC to participate in DAC which is the premier conference for Electronic Design Automation.

     
    In this conference, SMIC will show its latest technology development roadmap and integrated solutions of one-stop service, and share its efforts and achievements of building an IC ecosystem. In SMIC's booth, there will be numerous valuable and insightful speeches, presented by SMIC's Technology Development, Design Service, Sales and Marketing professionals, and many guest speakers from partners as well. They will introduce SMIC's new progress of 28nm technology platform and research achievements in IP, EDA, ESD, etc. and share measures and prospects of building a design service ecosystem together with partners.
